My own little female tuxie has kind of a half-and-half face - one black ear, one partly white ear, one eye surrounded by white fur and the other mostly by black fur.

11. He is named after a game called Othello

well,The pieces used in the game. They are chips black on one side white on the other.

If you look at Othello from above on his back his fur is black, flip him on his belly his fur is white.
