Related: About this forumI admit, mornings are the hardest part of the day!
The kittens are now on a 4 times a day feeding schedule, so no more 2am feedings. Now it's Midnight, 6am Noon, 6pm. If that doesn't seem sufficient, I'll adjust the schedule.
ANYWAY, it was a struggle to stay awake until midnight. I got them fed and they insisted on being super cute. BUT I resisted hanging around and went to bed.
Fell asleep before 12:30 (thankfully) and Madoc woke me up at 5:30 with kitty kisses. He was setting me up. As soon as I relaxed he started pouncing. OOOOOK.
Got up, fed the boys, prepared the kitten food, fed the kittens. Some scarfed down the food, some simply ate what didn't seem enough, to me. Tried to clean them up (Bronwyn was sitting IN a bowl) and put the leftovers in a bowl that I placed it in the playpen, in case they decided to eat it later.
Got dressed and ready to make up the ferals food but couldn't find two of the bowls!! ARGHHH. Found substitutes, got their food prepared and delivered, came inside to check on the kittens and the bowl of food was EMPTY. Maybe they don't like me hovering.
And that was all before 6:30.
Good thing this is really satisfying and SO much fun! I promise some photos will be posted.

(26,263 posts)Of course, they are also now starting to climb into the bowls. They have started to groom themselves and each other but they will all still be getting a quick warm water bath, today.
It is so much fun watching their little brains really start to click.

(34,111 posts)you are quite busy enough and we know you will do that when you can. You are mothering a bunch of cats and kittens. We know you will post pictures when you can. Take care of yourself so you don't get sick or too overwhelmed to enjoy them as much.
