But they have the toughest job on earth, always forgiving a largely ungreatful species. 😏

When I pass by all the places we once walked, I sometimes feel sad - and that's when I say to myself 'we did many good doggy-things together - didn't we girl'. This always brings a smile and makes me sense her just there...by my side.

My heart still swells wen I see her pictures. Our little ones mean so much to us. You are not alone with these feelings..we have a bond some don’t understand. 🌺

Riff Raff was a long-haired tuxedo cat.....about six weeks after he died, I was doing a midnight walk and spotted a long-haired tuxedo cat in a breezeway - he was facing away, and looked so much like Riff Raff it took my breath away. Well, turns out that cat was a stray I ended up adopting so Angus has been with me three years now. He doesn't seem to notice when I accidentally refer to him as Riff Raff.

I still cry all the time and my apt. is a cold, tomb without her. I can't wait to play with her again (I believe this will happen since I have experienced weird stuff after each of my dogs died and I am an atheist). Occasionally I hear her but that is happening less and less and that saddens me.

It's been two years since one of my cats died and I miss him terribly. I still sense his ghost in the house.

and you probably shouldn't. I still dream about the great dog of my life and wake feeling her against my leg. (Yes, she was a chow chow.) They're happy dreams. It's been about 20 years.

I've had other dogs since and so, possibly, should you. You don't get your old friend back again, but it would be a damned shame if you never had any new friends. When you're ready. Don't rush it.
