The kittens are getting much more comfortable with indoor life

They've started to wrestle, again, and don't get me started on their obsession with whiffle balls. Their appetites are great. I've noticed a HUGE improvement with Gwyn (who suddenly turned timid when Arthur knocked part of the barrier down on him) and Eira. All three are now in full kitten mode. I was so shocked that Carys, who was always the shyest, was the first to venture out and play.

There are zero issues with the boys. They spend a lot of time in the living room and on the kitchen window sill but when they venture into the den they mostly observe from a distance. Well, except for Gryff. He is proving to be a gentle foster brother.

I have 5 more days to enjoy all 3. On Sunday I'll get an update on Carys' potential new home.

I'm patting myself on the back for getting feral kittens of their age (we estimate between 6 and 8 weeks old) as socialized as they have become in such a short space of time. Of course I had expert help, this time.

If the ever hold still I will get new photos.

Didn't take long at all! But that's really good. I think their mom let n that you could be trusted, they knew you were good because you fed them and tried to play and stuff. Glad this group was not only easy to capture but easy to find homes for too.

how do you part with the sweeties that you have done so much to rescue and prep them for a loving home life?
Not blaming in any way - the complete opposite: admiring all you have done, but having my own emotional connection to them from reading your posts, I imagine it must be so intense to personally experience the idea of parting with them.

Anyhow - kudos to you for all you have done. I have lusted to adopt those kitties since the beginning, but partner is preventing me adding any new friends to my home, so I lust even more over those cuties. I'm so glad they seem to have loving homes to go to soon, but you have been their savior!! The gods and goddesses of cats surely shine upon you!

Just ranting a bit, but truly, you have brought joy to my life too, by the sharing of your efforts and successes with the felines that somehow know to find you! Blessings!

Arthur's sister, Freya, was adopted by my niece and comes to visit quite often, which is so nice. Two kittens from the first litter live with a friend in Chicago so I get lots of updates. Two from the 2nd litter are with a friend's nephew. I get occasional updates. She is actually taking one of these and her house mate, who is also my friend, is taking another.

I'm not sure about Carys, yet. Who knows - she might just end up living here.

It's nice to be able to make a difference in these sweet creature's lives, and to ease the population of ferals in a positive way. My vet is pretty surprised at my success in finding them homes. And they bring me such joy. I don't think I've laughed so much in my entire life than I have since I started rescuing these furry little angels.

I'm so glad people get some joy our of reading about my and the kittens adventures.
