Related: About this forumCarys has staked out a spot on the couch. This way she can keep her eye on me.
At least she's not hiding and is in the same room with me.
I don't expect to make a lot of progress until things quiet down and it's just her, me and the boys. (My friend leaves tomorrow.)

Right now the boys are all at the kitchen window watching birds feeding on the last of the sunflower seeds. They are absolutely captivated. I'm going to fill the bird feeders today.
The weather will be in the 70's for a few days so they will also get to watch me doing late season garden and yard work.

Show it the food and show it the litter box, then back off. They always come around on their own terms.
