my girl seems to be feeling a bit better

blood work showed elevated liver enzymes and the vet is concerned about pancreatitis, dad took her in for an antibiotic shot and a vitamin shot. they also prescribed an appetite suppressant, but we're going to hold off on that until we're sure she can keep food down.

she's moving around a bit more and has been very insistent upon scritches and pets today rather than just laying next to me on the couch. can't say it's a permanent fix, but i'm glad to see her feeling better.

Give her an extra hug and tell her how much you love her. Sending healing and caring thoughts your way - to you and her both.

I just finished watching "Dancing with Wolves" and am still upset about them shooting his wolf. I needed something to happy me up.

and had the same diagnosis. The antibiotics seems to do the job. Hope it works for your baby too.

i've been offline for a few days, but wanted to make sure you all knew how much i appreciate you guys.

my girl is making good progress, asking for more food and keeping it down. she's drinking water and we know for sure she is pooping. eyes and coat look much better.

we're still waiting on a few more test results, but she seems to be on the mend.
