Related: About this forumIt appears the mom is moving the kittens.
I noticed Tegan was nowhere to be seen and then the mom showed up. I grabbed Tudor, turned my back for a second, and Bronwyn was gone. I know she's not taking them far because less than a few minutes later she collected Rhian and disappeared.
I'll see if she comes back and looks for Tudor but I am positive if she would take him, he wouldn't make it. It's obvious her focus is on the other 3 kittens.
Meanwhile, Tudor is in the playpen. I wasn't planning on taking over the small amount of care she was giving him, but life is full of surprises, isn't it.
I'm sure I'll be seeing the kittens again.

(25,351 posts)Could he be a motherless kitten that she allows to nurse, but gives priority to "her own" kittens?
Or maybe he is hers and she rejects him because he is the runt who requires more care and might not survive.

(27,757 posts)I am pretty much convinced that his 'runt' status might be part of the reason she's so apathetic about him. Survival of the fittest, I guess. After all, he was in the same horrible weather conditions as his sisters, but he is the only one who nearly died. She must figure she'd rather spend her time and energy with the stronger kittens, although Bronwyn isn't that much bigger than Tudor.
He's fast asleep on my lap, right now.
