Guess who's back. RHYS!!!!

The porch kitcats were staring through the window, which is unusual at night, so I thought I'd best go check things out. Apparently they were trying to tell me the prodigal has returned!! Since he wasn't here for dinner, I ran right back inside to mix up some food. Did he ever gobble that up! Of course I had to bring some for everyone so that he wouldn't have to battle for the nutrition I suspect he might just need.

He doesn't usually like to be picked up but he let me scoop him up and give him a big kiss.

I couldn't get a good photo of him but I did manage to get this one. Tomorrow I'll get a better one.

What a relief!!

I guess they both remember where the shelter and food is! And the snuggles!

So glad to hear!

Sometimes I think the feral cats have a network of people in the area as big as your network of cats.

I suspect that they were locked in somewhere accidentally, like a garage or something. So glad he le you pick him up. Both of you needed the reassurance.

Well, they're back in a safe place, well fed and there's fresh water for them to drink. Well, and cuddle buddies for our last really cold night. For a while, anyway.

Must be your help that's making the difference in his nutrition.

Love these reports of yours, Siwsan! Such a welcome break from all the wreckage in the news!

Act all grown up and independent, but as long as they know where home base is and return when they need to, all is good.
