Another visit from Carys, last night. The first in a LONG time

She was acting different, all day. Kind of hanging out close, but not too close. I had a chat with her and told her how much I miss giving her scritches and cuddles.

Last night I was working on a puzzle, on my laptop, and she jumped up on the bed. I got a quick head nudge from her, gave her a few scritches and then she settled in to her grooming routine. After she finished she stretched out, but not for long. All of a sudden she got this look on her face that said 'What the hell am I doing here!!!' and off she went.

Oh well. I turned off the lights at 11. Woke up at 2:30 to she her sleeping next to me! She stayed for quite a while, and then just did that slow feline stretch and ambled off. This made me wonder how often she actually does that but I sleep through it!

She's a precious but also very unpredictable little girl, that's for sure.

In many forms, but the one thing they all have in common is that when offered, they are always warmly and emotionally received cause after all, they gave it in a way that was guaranteed to have impact.
The best example is my Moofy-Moo, (Mufasa)
Will very occasionally, maybe once a week if that, would hop in bed when I went, and curled himself right up under my chin with a lake of drool and ten minutes of the loveliest purring imaginable and then he was done and went on his way. No human has ever in a single moment communicated that pure and unconditional love the way Mufasa does when he's good and ready.

Loves to be petted while she purrs. Then, bingo, I’ve had enough. Goodbye, see you later.
