I'm going to have to sharpen my kitcat grooming skills

Bronwyn and Rhian are DEFINITELY the offspring of the late, great, gorgeous Lush. I could never get close to Lush and his beautiful coat became very matted and raggedy, before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

So the fluffy girls are going to get brushed/combed several times a week. I'll start by giving them a treat so that they associate tasty stuff with the grooming. They already love scritches so I think this might just be an easy task.

I can’t remember where it came from, but it boar’s bristle. And Patches just loves it.Especially brushing his head and his back

Had thick. long hair, I usually donate old hair brushes to kitty grooming detail when I get a new one. I use the kind that have a center thing with a tip on it surrounded by boar's hair bristles for each tuft of the brush. The tipped thing keeps the boar's hair from scratching your scalp. They are just the best for pulling lint from my hair and easier getting it to go through my hair. Cats like that type best, they collect the loose fur well.

That I have ever been around loved being brushed to a point. Using treats is a good idea for association training plus, I think the ones with lots of fur will appreciate it.

DO make sure the brush bristles aren't sharp on the ends, they usually don't like that, it scratches the skin.
