I have learned way back..
All are innocent until proven Guilty.....

BUT, When Cannabis is concerned and due Process is out the window...
I believe nothing LEOs say or do is by the letter of law....

This is another one of those raids....
LEOs investigation most likely went only as so far as finding those locations and setting up the raids..
LEOs arrive in Felony Mode..
Take everything, make arrests.....
All involved will be investigated afterwards.. A tally will be taken of possible crimes committed and charges will come after..
At the very end of this raid is when any Patients who have recommendations will be considered...
Anything LEOs find that would de escalate this situation to a lower crime level is considered at the very last..
This is a Tactic designed and used by all Police...

Like I said...
NO DUE PROCESS OF LAW...

It is illegal to mail cannabis across state lines, medical or not.

I will refute any attempt to pin this non-federal, non MMJ related raid on the Obama administration.

But you're right, he didn't mention Obama specifically. Yet.

I'll edit that part out.

the President at all. So unfair, so typical. Creating something to take offense at, when called on it, just letting it stand. Nafff and tacky and not suited to support of the President.

This wasn't a fed raid, or a MMJ raid. It was people being arrested for breaking the law. A law which I don't agree with BTW.

Reread the OP's short commentary with that in mind and you'll understand why I brought it up.

If you are legal and they took your stuff without a warrant you can sue them. Have you called a lawyer yet?

I chased them down the walkway, saying I had better look into the ghost/girl they heard crying, for fifteen minutes. Which is how they do away with the need for a warrant. I lived alone.

Oh, my license had expired by a month. I told them I guess they will be picking up all my medical bills from now on. They didnt seem to like that.

Oh, I dont mean raided this goround.

11. If any part of this story is true I would still sue them for harassment.

I have a few questions..

Did they come in your house?
If so, why did you let them in without a warrant?
If so, what did they do inside the house?
If not, when and why did you get cuffed?
Did you get arrested?
If so, what was the charge?
Were you mirandized?
When and why did they remove the cuffs?
Did they ever claim you were growing illegally?
Did they ever claim you were growing legally?
Did they ever ask for your card?
Did they ever mention anything about Cannabis at all?

The good news is it sounds like the CO MMJ law worked in your favor and they had to leave you alone.

I would still call a lawyer and ask if you have a harassment case.

15. Breckenridge man, 12 others, arrested after pot raids
Sat Jan 28, 2012, 01:23 PM
Jan 2012

Breckenridge resident Eric Gleason was arrested Wednesday morning after his house was raided in a statewide marijuana pot bust.

Authorities raided 25 grow houses across the Front Range and the central mountains, arresting 13 people and seizing dozens of guns, more than 100 pounds of marijuana and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and Iraqi currency, according to a statement released Friday by the Seventeenth Judicial District Attorney's Office and the North Metro Task Force.

Gleason was charged with conspiracy under the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, money laundering, possession with intent to distribute and two counts of conspiracy to distribute marijuana, said Krista Flannigan, spokeswoman for the task force.

Authorities with the North Metro Drug Task Force, with help from the U.S. Postal Service, conducted the sting after a six-month investigation of an illegal marijuana grow and distribution ring operating primarily out of Adams County and Broomfield. During searches of 24 houses illegally growing marijuana, authorities found 40 guns, 2,749 marijuana plants and 148 pounds of dry marijuana.
