Hickenlooper calls Colorado assault weapons ban a "hard sell"

Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, speaking on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday morning called a ban on assault weapons "a tough sell."
Colorado last week adopted three gun control bills — limiting ammunition magazines to 15 rounds, requiring universal background checks and charging gun owners for the cost of the checks.
A bill banning assault weapons, however, did not clear the legislature.
"I think the feeling right now around assault weapons, at least in Colorado, is that they're so hard to define what an assault weapon is," Hickenlooper said. "
