Firearms, as a general rule, are not meant to kill; they are meant to grant power. The power to kill is included, but it is not the sole purpose.

The hispanic man, through his acts, removes Flight as an option, so now the young and outmatched black youth -must- defend himself in a Fight situation. The youth, being physically outmatched and at grave risk of injury or death in an unarmed fight against the Hispanic man, pulls a gun and shoots his opponent, killing him.


The gun didn't kill the Hispanic man; the youth did, by electing to use his force-multiplier against a threat he perceived as physically superior. The force multiplier did that; it multiplied the youth's force, which independently was insufficient, and multiplied it, resulting in the youth surviving an encounter that, without a firearm, he may not have.


Firearms are used as force multipliers, namely by those who may be unable to defend themselves through "Fair" means (The weak, the elderly, those who lack self-confidence).

I just had it replaced a couple of years ago. Is there a way to get a refund since it is so dangerous?

My bycycle tire uses it when I bring it out of the garage. Now I have two dangerous weapons, the driveway and bike tires. Next time I buy canned beans I'll have to double bag them. If a can fell out of the bag (in the driveway) then I'd have three dangerous weapons -- driveway, bike tire and a can of beans. It's called a threefer.

Martin pounding the crap out of Zimmeman, and that he yelled for help for 40 seconds, yeah. Those were witnesses for the persecution.
Of course the State would have to disprove that Zimmerman threw the first punch, if he claimed self defense. If the judge allowed TM's cell phone data dump, texts etc. the chances of a conviction would be higher.
there are a lot of factors, and not an easy answer.

If there is another trial for any reason, those will come in because Nelson not allowing it was reversible error. According to some legal blogs, one of many.

This is true, about 25% gun ownership rate in florida, less than national average of about 33%, & far less than wyoming's 60%.
Likely due copious retirees not wanting guns, due age or infirmity or disability.
Still, wyoming has about 1/4 million gun owners, while florida has about 4 - 5 million gun owners, with florida about half the area of wyoming.
So florida has far more gun owners per square mile, than wyoming.
Florida's about 30 - 40 times more gunowners per square mile, than wyoming.
