Bar owner protects customers...(and not with a no weapons sign)

http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/concertina-bar-owner-shoots-kills-would-be-robber-b9977078z1-219910811.html?utm_campaign=sf

Earlier in the day, Kochanski, 43, told reporters that three armed men tried to rob the establishment Thursday night while he and two customers were inside.

He fired at the robbers, killing one of them. Milwaukee police confirmed those details, and the two other suspects fled, Milwaukee police Lt. Mark Stanmeyer said.

"I would like to state that I did what I had to do to protect my customers and myself. I have no regrets and would do it again if need be.

"PLEASE do not let this keep you from having a great time here. PLEASE do not let this tarnish this neighborhood. This could and has happened anywhere."

"You should ALWAYS feel safe here," he wrote.

Easy money isn't so easy sometimes I suppose. This is what we need more of and it could take the pressure off citizens across the nation...

insist on raiding parties like this, home break ins, store robberies, street muggings etc, we need to be ready defend ourselves.

It is tragic and disgusting that society has created criminals, but they are undeniably present and can strike anywhere anytime. Criminals should live in fear of conducting their lives by stealing, injuring and attacking honest citizens. The fear should be so great that they change their behavior.

the news is talking about smuggling, and the GCA is talking about banning legal pistols.
Meanwhile, gangs make their own submachine guns. BTW, while gun crimes are less common in the UK than here (which has always been the case even when the UK had gun laws like Vermont and Wyoming) automatic weapons are more commonly used than in the US, even though UK banned machine guns in 1937.

then I don't think the Milwaukee DA will be filing any charges, it'll be ruled a justifiable homicide.

Being an armed robber is becoming more and more of a hazardous career.
