11 Michigan counties failed to report crimes commited by concealed weapon permit holders

Michigan law requires each county to file an annual report spelling out crimes committed by concealed handgun holders.

These reports were ordered by lawmakers at the same time they were overhauling Michigan's concealed handgun law to make it easier to obtain permits.

The reports were supposed to make it easier to take away the permits of any concealed gun holder who broke the law.

However, some counties are not filing the mandated reports.

Obviously the solution to laws not being enforced would be more laws. Nuclear Unicorn Aug 2014 #9

That would make perfect sense, wouldn't it?
But that doesn't fit your agenda, does it?

As you have undoubtedly noticed, a certain faction of DU posters like to
accuse others of saying certain things without any evidence whatsoever...

I'm tempted to ask that sort where a list of the legendary "NRA talking points" might be found.

I suspect it is kept next to the address directory of Sasquatches, duppies, chupacabras,
leprechauns, and Jersey devils...

As we all know there does seem to be an effort going on. I have to censor myself also, feels very wrong to have to do that in a group that is about free speech and expression.

I liked the hide of my youtube link. After the hide, the poster said a link would have been fine but the youtube advert was hide worthy. I guess some do not know that when a link to youtube is posted the video start screen is displayed. You still have to click play if you choose to see it. A link is OK but a youtube link is not? I am confused.

A link would have been fine

I think your followers are on me now. Loaded up my jury blacklist, time will tell. My first hide ever was 7 Jun after 6 years on this site. Most have been 4-3. It is an interesting fact that in the past two months there seems to have been an effort to silence me. I am curious how many alerts were not substantiated.

I have a feeling it will be very low if not zero. I would hazard to guess that if there are some it will be not related to the firearm but something like drunk driving.
