Range day Tuesday....

I'll be hitting the range with this little beauty.

And this little darling.

The first is my primary Home Defense pistol, it's 19+1 of 9mm (should equal 9 of 45 like my old HD p220) CZ p=09

The second is my favorite EDC conceal carry pistol. The M&P Shield also in 9mm. If you haven't tried one of these they really are great. I can take it at 15-17 yards and bang the plates all day long. It's been perfect for around 2500 rounds now and I expect it to continue.

This evening I'll be trying two new loads with my new groveless 124gr lead mold. The first 1.090oal with 3.7gr of titegroup. The second 1.090 with 5gr of power pistol. Depending on which I like the best I'll set down and hopefully load 3-5k this winter for next year. My plan is to load enough to keep my skills sharp and maybe shoot a skill honing match or two next year.

Anyway....Stay Safe and happy shooting. Remember practice, practice, practice...Safety First. Your personal safety, and the safety of your family depends on you.

I am considering getting a Taurus tracker 992 in .22/.22 mag ( you get 2 cylinders.)

I carry a Glock 19 CCW.

or a Glock 21 .45 acp.

prefer the 19 mostly cuz I use a 17 9mm at work.

the .22 is fun to shoot, and hopefully I can entice my wife
to use it and go to the range with me.

Light cold rain outside, better to stay inside and reload, or go out to the barn and cast 530gr Sharps bullets.
