Tulsa firefighter, National Guard soldier, captures burglary suspect at gunpoint

Tulsa police arrested a burglary suspect early Tuesday after a firefighter who is also a National Guard soldier held him at bay until officers arrived.

Jonathan Parker, 18, of Tulsa was arrested on complaints of first-degree burglary, burglary of a vehicle and public intoxication, according to jail records.

-----snip-----

Morgans pointed his gun at the man, later identified as Parker, made sure he didn't have any weapons on him, holstered his own weapon and waited for police to arrive.

"He was pretty brazen," Morgans said.

Burglar wasn't killed so it doesn't count as a DGU -- according to some. Nuclear Unicorn Jun 2015 #3

Bloodshed is actually prevented, but somehow it doesn't qualify as a defensive use.

How long before the "what if" types attack this guy for brandishing a weapon to defend his home?
