Paranoia, or intelligent preparation?

ER physician: Why'd that cop have to shoot him so many times?!

Another instance wherein a "smart fool" would have been better served just keeping his mouth shut. Actual gun fights don't play out like they do in movies. Good move doc -- demonize the cop. Hur.....dur.......dur..........

Excuse the guy plugging the holes that the victim in your story worked so hard on putting there. Ed Suspicious Jul 2015 #1
What victim? Do you mean the career criminal who vowed to not be taken alive, started shooting Nuclear Unicorn Jul 2015 #2

The victim in "my" story worked very hard to stay alive during a violent conflict that the criminal created. The fact that putting numerous holes in the violent attacker was required in protecting himself is irrelevant, since the criminal brought it on himself.

I'll grant the likelihood of that officer facing the same circumstances again as very slim.

Years ago I read a comment from a police officer who carried numerous firearms in the patrol vehicle. The officer's rationale was that at any given time his nearest back up was at least 30 minutes away.
