Just read this. 😮
Was going downtown on the #4 train around 5:15. We were told we'd be bypassing my old station Mt Eden Av due to a police investigation. By the time back home around 9PM I'd forgotten about it.

The incident started around 4:30PM. One killed, ?5, or 6 blocks injured, police looking for suspect. Fight started in train, and spilled onto platform.

Ick! Blah! (at "least" it happened on the uptown side)

Strength to the grieving, the injured, the witnesses, and their people. 😔

Well, I used that station as my downtown station for 10 yrs to the east side (then barely through Covid till I moved in '22) , while usually taking the bus into Washington Heights for the #1, or A for the westside.

I wouldn't cone home to it bc I'd have to walk up a 6+ block long hill! 😄😑
I'd get off the station before that where there was a bus to take us up there! 👍
