If the pink pistols open carried in a gay pride parade:
The anti-gun church person or the anti-gay church person?

(17,502 posts)Have to think about it. Basically, who is going to freak out first, Brady Campaign or pick any American Family Association.

An uptight person, usually but not always female, usually but not always of conservative mores, who reacts with shock, feigned or otherwise, at other people's violations of decorum, propriety, morality, and so forth.
Someone got up at the PTA meeting and suggested the school hand out condoms to teenagers. The pearl clutchers in the audience nearly went into cardiac arrest.

(12,072 posts)Their motto is "Armed gays don't get bashed." They encourage gays to get carry permits and to lawfully carry. They give shooting classes to any who wish to attend.

(15,396 posts)It always amazes me people that are scared of metal and plastic in the hands of their fellow citizens.

(17,502 posts)it is kind of irrational. Now if he pulls it out of the holster and starts aiming or shooting, then it is rational. But then, where I grew up it was a non issue either way.

(883 posts)I agree with ileus, and I am completely sincere in that. There is no reason to be afraid of other citizens carrying handguns. I'm more afraid of letting the police carry guns than letting civilians do so.
