Zimmerman's bond set at $1,000,000

GD thread on this http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002904961
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/zimmerman-bond-trayvon-martin-shooting-155422978.html

It's the second time Zimmerman, charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, has been granted bond. He was released after posting a $150,000 bond in April, but was sent back to jail after prosecutors said Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, misled the court about his finances at his initial bond hearing.

The couple did not disclose more than $130,000 in PayPal donations that were raised for Zimmerman's defense. Last month, Shellie Zimmerman was arrested and charged with perjury. She was released on $1,000 bond.

$1,000,000...gimme a break. He will never get a fair trial with that judge now, ole Z man stepped in in for sure. This will be brought up during the trial and he will be painted as a liar and someone who can't be trusted.Unless something really questionable comes up in the trial you can stick a fork in him, he's done.

for all the evidence to be presented during the trial, then we will all know exactly what happened that night and there won't be any more speculation.

is trying to cause serious bodily harm or death to me and I cannot escape (which is rare) then yes I am prepared to use deadly force to defend myself. I have been in two altercations which required me to pull my weapon, both were defused when I produced a gun. During neither incident was I forced to shoot anyone. I did not make a split second decision. All of my actions were thought out.

You are worried about a trial? if either of these individuals would have killed me because I followed the Hoyt doctrine instead of defending myself the only trial would be for them. All the while I am lying in a grave, no thanks. As far as I am concerned when a criminal decides to harm another person they forfeit their right to due process. They made to choice to harm me, not the other way around. There is an old saying"It is better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6".

If your intent is to do me harm then I am going to shoot you, and not in the leg.
