As the 55-year-old Miramar homeowner prepared to go outside to investigate a sudden power outage, the man's wife spotted someone crouching by the family cars in the driveway.

"Grab your gun," the businessman's wife told him. "Just in case."

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to explain how these misunderstood youths just wanted to use the bathroom and didn't deserve to be shot by the gun crazy home owner.

2. Okay, let me just get all these out of the way:

1. What is the race of the homeowner/shooter? What is the race of the victim/visitor? This was probably racism.
2. The visitors were probably just after "stuff." Why would you want to end someone's life over stuff?
3. The homeowner shot the visitor multiple times? Why wouldn't he just shoot him in the leg, or better yet, just graze his shoulder?
4. Why not a warning shot?
5. Why not a can of beans? Castle Doctrine = legalized murder.
6. You know these home invadees all deserve it because they live criminal lifestyles themselves.
7. The visitors were probably coming to get the homeowner's gun. They knew he couldn't be trusted with it, and they were coming to take it and make his family safe once more.
8. Why do you post this gun porn? Do you fellate the barrel of your Glock while you type these stories?
9. The homeowner/murderer must be compensating for a small you-know-what.
10. The visitors were wearing masks--Why would he shoot them? One of them might have been his son!

Opening the door was the wrong thing to do in the first place.

However, bongbong, you do have the right idea in this case. Since the home owners saw the Bad Guys outside, the smart thing to do would have been to call the cops and wait inside while armed.
