How to fund the military in one simple step ...

bullet tax.

Let the sale of bullets have an extra tax, and the tax collected goes to funding the military.

You can avoid the tax by buying your bullets ... while serving in the military.

If this is just a supplemental way to fund the military, then maybe this would generate a few million extra dollars.


There's no way you could fund even a severely scaled-back US military on ammo sales tax, though. The math just wouldn't add up.
