Did You ever notice being infantry you're special matter of fact being combat arms it's special MOS.

Arty
Combat engineer
Tanker
Infantry
You always need to wear protective headgear a Kevlar in my day. It’s kind of like being on the short bus heading to that special class room after you scored excellent on your asvab.

And still volunteered for stupid after training and you graduated OSUT and you’re like thinking WTF did I do now I have 3 years of this shit.

It’s just a observation in humor.

7. Battalion Commander complained one time during morning formation

1st/50th Infantry 2nd Armored Div (Hell on Wheels), that "tank trail speed would be 10mph except for
maintenance, I can't keep him under 50"

Knowing he was talking to me, I replied with "Just living up to the Division Motto Sir" which gave everybody
a good laugh, including him.

Previous day some officer had clocked my M578 doing 50mph, yes it was down hill.
