Respect con thien marine

My wife’s friend brought her father to our cookout. Albert is 71 former Vietnam marine 3rd marines 0311 mos infantry ,I love infantry as I was army airborne volunteer ass trash 82nd.

What I meant is as infantry we share water food MRE C-rats were brothers if your hit I’m coming after you. today Albert walks with a cane waiting on hip replacement from vet hospital.

So my point in this ramble I just meant Albert and he was a stud to survive con thien. I have nothing but respect for Albert

That was some fucked up shit.

This is a picture of him receiving his second Purple Heart.

Sadly he used an M-14 to committe suicide the weekend he closed escrow on a house at Long Beach OR on 9-11-2016.

After returning from Nam he took up fencing because he dertermined that Atlantis will rise (hey man, it was the 60’s) and firearms will somehow disappear.

He became a bonafide fencing master, and taught it from Santa Cruz CA to Spokane WA.

I miss him greatly.
