Anyone here, sadly, had to pay the hospital bills of a deceased spouse? Is it the responsibility to pay bills, say, for long-term ICU, hospice, etc?. Experiences?

(68 posts)1. I believe it depends on what state you live in.
I didnt have to here on FL but I didnt know at the time so I paid them. It was only a few hundred for me anyway because my husband died so quickly.
I am very sorry for your losss. 😞

No one died, I'm just asking for informational reasons.
