UPDATE: The contractors are here

A day early. I'm sure someday I'll find humor in this, but not right now.
I have the contractor's phone number so we can handle this job one to one.
The contractors finished today. I have 2 handrails, one at the top of the basement steps, past the rail, and one outside on the steps I use. Two ceiling fans replaced, and electric switches replaced. And of course, the washer and dryer installed upstairs, all connections created, updated, tested and everything cleaned up. My crazy idea of using the closet in the guest room for the new washer and dryer actually worked. The bathroom is on the other side of the wall, so that helped things.
My blood pressure is down 100 points (seriously) My next step is to move the bedrooms around. I'm already calling the guest room my dorm room. I've been using the small bedroom. That'll become a den/giant closet. The other big room will become the guest room. Next year, we'll have an auction, and clear out the clutter.
Thanks for hanging out with me the last few days. It's nice to know there are people who are interested, even with all of the other things to attend to.
