Instead of hijacking debm55's current thread, thought I'd ask here.
It just seems like I'm getting the hiccups more than I used to. I'm 71.

I have hiccups occasionally, but when I do, its more persistent and embarrassingly loud. It usually happens in a public place where I would draw onlookers with any attempt to cure them.

Of course I'm usually at home so....
72 never have hiccups. Maybe slow down when drinking and eating.
