Are you getting hiccups more often as you age?

It just seems like I'm getting the hiccups more than I used to. I'm 71.

I have hiccups occasionally, but when I do, it’s more persistent and embarrassingly loud. It usually happens in a public place where I would draw onlookers with any attempt to ‘cure’ them.

72 never have hiccups. Maybe slow down when drinking and eating.

4. I don't *think* I drink or eat particularly quickly

I'm a bit of a grazer... so really never rushing around.

Wonder what's different for me. At least I can get rid of them pretty quickly.

I don't remember the last time I had them and am always surprised when I do.
