Working Old People To Death, The Disposable Elderly 👥 Elder Gal

- Elder Gal (EG), March 8, 2026. (12:43 mins). Older people, especially in the U.S. are having to work in retirement and past retirement age.

1 in 5 seniors are still out there working beyond age 65 because they don't have enough money.
Working at Walmart, often part-time as a greeter standing on your feet for hours is one example. But most people aren't healthy enough to do that. Seniors are also struggling in some other countries like the UK.

41% of people age 64 do not have any money saved for retirement. People are often unable to save because wages in the U.S. are so low. Younger people need to know the reality. 🔉

especially those standing. We should have done much better for them. Not everyone had a job where they could possibly put away savings for retirement.

middle class and a large, struggling lower class. A return to horrid conditions in the Gilded Age and the era of Victor Hugo in France, Dickens in England and Europe with beggars on the street, crime, starvation, gangs, debtors prisons, workhouses for the poor and sick, and prison.
