10. So glad to be back, but I'm fighting off waves of disorientation.

Scared to death about Ryan's plans to gut Medicare as my husband has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We were already facing an uncertain future dealing with the progression of his illness and now this.

I guess I can only take it a day at a time.

11. I'm back, and very turned off by the events that unfolded.

I cannot watch the "President-Elect" and have no desire to do so.
I sneak little sessions on TV to keep up with developments, but foresee a bleak four years.
Disheartening, too, because I'm senior enough that I may not get another chance to see another Democratic president.
