Olympic sized sexism

The Olympic governing body demands activity-appropriate attire. Tell me why female beach volleyball players are in bikinis, often wedged into a thong-shaped butt covering.
There is no escape from seeing these women's naked butt cheeks while watching a match.

Yet male beach volleyball players are wearing shorts reaching nearly to their knees. Their tank tops cover their abdomens. Never even a bellybutton to be seen or a pleasure trail to be admired.

I appreciate a finely tuned physique as much as anyone else. Explain to me why exploiting these women is okay. If they don't change this then I demand speedos on the men so I can clearly see the outlines if their penis and testicles. I want to see a speedo being adjusted to cover a male ass cheek.

I am sick of of the rampant females on display sexism EVERYWHERE. If it persists then it is time to exploit the men. Not my preferred option. But what is good for goose is good for the gander.

the photo of them in their required bikinis next to the men in reasonable and comfortable and much less revealing attire. They tried to get this changed for years, to no avail. Then they decided to wear (skin tight) shorts instead of bikini bottoms despite the sexist rules, and were promptly fined.

Sexist, misogynist behavior. It must stop.

People see what they want when they watch sports, for me it's the competition, for others, well they apparently want to see other things.

it's that these female athletes have zero input into what they can wear

If so then yes, women should too.

But it is what people see, because apparently some folks watch this and it bothers them that they see women's bodies. I see incredible athletes, women and men.

Geez, this is the multiple correction on this subject. We need to stop with the blatant misinformation here.

It was an EU tournament official that fined the ladies for attire, NOT the Olympics.

The Olympics do not require bikinis, women Olympians can wear shorts and shirts.

And tennis Grand Slams pay women exactly the same as the men, even though they play 3 sets instead of 5....but soccer does not pay women the same. So obviously the Grand Slams would not be lumped into the same as soccer.

Same with the Olympics. They are innocent of these charges. If we are going to slam an organization, lets at least get our facts straight.
