Hockey's a great sport, and I can't wait until my Rangers have a black star at long last, because it will do a lot to promote the game to the entire city. Thought we were going to get one with young Anthony Duclair, but he was traded to Arizona.

Mark Messier is behind the construction of a huge rink in the Bronx designed to give city kids a place to learn the sport. He's a good man. The late Anthony Mason of the Knicks was a huge hockey fan, which always made me smile because he was a classic grinder himself.
