Great Read, here ...

In case it hasn’t been made painfully clear, the Democrats seeking to succeed Barack Obama as president have no time for his coalition.

First, Hillary Clinton, the presumptive nominee, urges the President to “take advice” from Nancy Pelosi on the TPP trade deal. You know, just like her husband did when he was in charge. Oh, except, Mr. Clinton didn’t.

...

Then, of course, we had Senator Bernie Sanders opining yesterday that black Americans needed to stop voting based on race.

BTW, I loved the Twiiter comment!

But I thought the Sanders crew explained to us he didn't really say that -

If I didn't vote based on my Race, Gender, and Religion (I'm a UU - a liberal humanist philosophy)

I might as well be Republican.

He's lost his doggone mind!

but that discussion doesn't arise for non-PoC; and, women aren't to vote based on their gender, but that discussion doesn't arise for males.

Lots of deep Obama HATE here at Democratic Underground.

As to the next two, Bernie and HIllary, personally I dont know why any white American politician deserves anything from you other than disdain.

That they ultimately get your votes, the Democrats, is a god damn gift.

Barack Obama has given us a map how to assemble a center-left coalition that can win a general election. Only a dunderhead would jettison a proven map and try to make his or her own way. Those people usually end up lost.

And, as such, a map wouldn't help.

ETA: Or, let's not discount the possibility that a General Election win is NOT the intended/desired destination.
