another "suicide" at the hands of racist police. Evidently, after driving from Illinois to Texas, for a new job at her alma mater, Prairie View A&M. Maybe she was tired from the drive, but she made a common mistake, improper signaling. Some officer of the law stops her for that infraction, and after that it seems she ended up on the ground, with her head slammed into the ground and a knee in her back for being "combative".

After spending a night in their jail, she's found dead, by a female guard, by "self inflicted hanging", prosecutor Mathis, a known racist pig, already made that determination, in her jail cell, DEAD. The spin of the privileged has started on other sites, she was not compliant enough to the new massa, she should have not been screaming about her rights and their brutal treatment of her to the new massa, ect, ect ect ad nauseam.

Corruption and white privilege will protect these cops, this town, because who can prove she didn't hang herself. The cameras won't show a damn thing, some kind of glitch or hell, they were off at the time, for maintenance ect, ect ect ad nauseam.

When will the names stop being added to the list since Trayvon Martin? When will the privileged here and in this nation start speaking up about this problem of racial injustice? Of racist brutality and viciousness against defenseless and unarmed women, children and men of color? WHEN WILL THE EXCUSES STOP!!!!!! DAMMIT!!!!!!!

Will the Justice Department enter this one with forceful determination and end up saying, "no proof of civil rights violations(s)"? This continuing behavior by racist people with guns and badges is becoming untenable because it is domestic terrorism.

Sandra Bland died in police custody this past Monday. Visiting Texas from Chicago to interview for a college job at her alma mater of Prairie View A&M, she was pulled over for a routine traffic violation (failure to use her turn signal). Everything from that point forward screams racism and foul play, including her death in the Waller County jail Monday.

The first red flag is that Bland was officially arrested on Friday for assaulting a police officer. What we see from a bystander video is her telling the officers she is in pain and cannot hear after her head was slammed on the ground by the male arresting officer. The video is below.

We have now learned that Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith, who made the first public comments about Bland's in-custody death, was suspended for documented cases of racism when he was chief of police in Hempstead, Texas, in 2007. After serving his suspension, more complaints of racism came in, and Smith was actually fired as chief of police in Hempstead

I find it plausible that she died in custody from the head trauma -- or went unconscious -- and they faked the suicide.

I wish there was an Innocence Project type of organization that would take on investigation of. these cases. Waller County isn't releasing the body yet, I believe.

I am heartsick about this case (and about hundreds of others). And was that stupid sheriff was quoted on TV claiming that he is not a racist "because black lives matter"? If that was him.. I take it as direct disgusting sarcasm.

Broke my heart. And it has just gotten worse. Zimmerman should not have been treated like a hero. He should have gone to prison for cold-blooded murder.

15. The coroner in Eric Garner's case ruled it a homicide.

There was fucking VIDEO of the cops basically sitting on this man with his head in a choke hold and him screaming "I can't breathe." And the jury STILL DID NOTHING.

Zimmerman was told by the 911 operator to stop chasing Trayvon through his father's neighborhood. He didn't. The jury STILL DID NOTHING.

John Crawford was in Walmart talking on his phone while holding a fake gun. Not brandishing the gun, HOLDING it. Cops came in and killed him and the jury DID NOTHING.

None of these brothers were armed. None of them were committing crimes. But yet, Dylan Roof and that asshole that shot up that movie theater are alive and well, despite having KILLED SEVERAL PEOPLE.

Although there was the shooting of the groom of a wedding in Brooklyn (I think) that had me thinking something was seriously amiss.

This latest killing just makes me so sad.

I hope the justice dept can do something with this prosecutor and this murder. That's all I got in the hope area. Otherwise, I know where I stand in this country with a legion of "night riders" out there. And that's fine with me. I want this shit on front street, can be dealt with efficiently and effectively.
