Related: About this forumDid anyone catch Roland Martin's interviews with ...
3 of the Black Preachers that met with Trump?
I'm on my tablet so in can't link or Cut and Paste (he has a couple podcasts up); but, here is a summation of trump's "Black Agenda" ....
Roland made me laugh as he pressed the preachers as they became increasingly evasive.
Seems there was nowhere near the reported 109 ... More like less than 50. And, you'd bet my last dime that money changed hands.

(53,908 posts)I'd like to see that. I'll see if I can find a link.
I found this:
http://praise1027detroit.hellobeautiful.com/561552/roland-martin-offers-open-invitation-to-black-pastors-to-discuss-specifics-of-their-meeting-with-donald-trump/
You have to scroll down to the second video on this link and then wait thru a commercial. The minister was, like you said, uncomfortable and really out of his league. Martin kept probing about policy specifics discussed during the meeting but didn't get much.

(If you've spent a minute in a Black church, you'll catch the reference)
Google Ronald Martin and open offer to black preachers ... that should get you there.
Please post it if you find it/them. Thanks.

(53,908 posts)shelled out "walking around money" to black pastors to get them to deliver votes from their congregations.
That was the "walking around money" reference.
That link, btw, is from the Roland Martin open offer but the video only has one pastor on it. I didn't find one with other ministers.
Recursion
(56,582 posts)I'm kind of curious about that.
Side point: I met Mr. Martin once, years ago, in DC (he was doing, idk, something, but I recognized him from Tom Joyner and said hi). We were in Near Southeast.
A very, very well dressed young man came up and handed him a pamphlet. The young man looked confused and uncertain for a second, and handed (white) me another one. Roland and I simultaneously opened the pamphlets.
Five-percenter literature.
I still have that pamphlet, because I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Anyways. Not at all relevant, but kind of funny.
