As we come up on the end of the year, I'm looking back at some of my favorite articles and interviews. I have to say when 2015 started, I didn't know who Tim Wise was but he quickly became one of my favorite commentators and voices.
This clip is from his appearance on RT this summer after the Baltimore uprisings. I find this commentary particularly relevant and timely in lieu of Tamir Rice, 'Affluenza', DU Alert Stalking, etc:

(24,544 posts)And as usual, he gets right to the heart of the matter here. And I share his utter bewilderment that white people TODAY let alone in 1962 could even try to pretend that the US is a place where black children get the same opportunities as children of other races.

(8,709 posts)And I love how he never fails to debate on any supremacy related topic. He's who I consider a real ally. I think the man came out of the womb educating white people and fighting racists.
And reminds me to watch his documentary White Like Me
