20. I have no way of knowing your life experience and therefore will not and cannot

argue with you your perception of Bernie.

I will say as a white guy observing him and Hillary and for that matter all white politicians the past 40 years almost, none or very few care much about anybody but themselves and their reelection.

And yet, having said that, I truly believe Bernie is different.

I believe he is terribly lacking in the mechanics of reaching out to POC and that his focus on states that are predominantly white is bad optics, and at the same time I truly believe he cares more than almost any other white politician about POC.

I cant prove it, but I believe it.

Now to the point of this post and most important part:

My believing that in no way means you have to believe it, which is the part I wish my fellow Bernie supporters would understand.

I respect your attitude about this as it is earned the hard way, while I have the luxury of sitting back and assuming something while that something wont hurt me one way or another.

anti establishment thought voting was what the squares did.

Bernie is not perfect, far from it, but at the end of the day I dont think he has a single motive connected to money or profit, and that is so very important to me.

But I am completely aware, becoming more so, why POC are wary. I appreciate the concern and want to learn from it.

As a white person I dont have to worry about his lack of support, if such a thing exists, for the minority community, and I dont think he does lack that support but I have the luxury of it doesnt matter either way.

Which is why dismissing your concern is stupid of me, or of Bernie supporters.

A lot of the older bluegrass consisted of white spirituals.
