Martin Luther King letter going for $95K

A Martin Luther King letter against the Vietnam War is being sold for $95,000.

The letter, being sold by Moments in Time, is dated Sept. 26, 1966, and addressed to Mrs. S.S. Blakney. King wrote at the time, “the inequalities of the present military draft system place an unequal burden on Negro men for service in Vietnam. We believe it grossly unjust to ask a man to fight in such a war only to come home to face indignities and de facto slavery in his own country.”

The memorabilia dealer claims it’s the only letter ever on the market in which King discussed the war.

did and he was absolutely right. Black men were especially subjected to being drafted.

That such a historical document is going to be sold for $$$$. My friend whose Jewish said Lena, there's no WAY in hell that a one of a kind letter with such historical importance written by a person of such magnitude, would be taken out of and the Simon Wiesenthal Center, and then sold.

She's right.
