Afro-Bougie Blues - Is the Title Okay?

My book of short stories, "Afro-Bougie Blues" will probably come out in the next two months. There are 14 short stories that I've been writing over the past 15 years. Themes include parenting, family, death, adultery, obesity and weight loss, abortion, incarceration, and some interesting romance. If you think you could help me promote it, please let me know. I sent this to a white person and she was totally confused about the title. My use of the title was to indicate that there are some problems that money can't fix. I came up with the title about 12 years ago. There is now a phrase "boujee" which might make more sense.

Please tell me - when you saw the title, did you have a good idea of what it meant?
