I'm going to stop reading ANNIHILATION by Jeff Vandermeer.

Why? First because I think the four women on the expedition are cuckoo to go on it.

Second, you know how in a horror movie you see a young woman going into the scary house and you’re thinking, “don’t go in there no don’t go in there!” But of course she does. And with this book, I feel like that about all the time.

Some reviews said there’s another book after it and it’s inconclusive at the end. I’m not interested in reading another book after it, and I don’t like books that are inconclusive About the weirdness going on in the book.

That’s my take on it. Your mileage may vary.

I think I'll give it a miss, too. Thanks for posting. I think it's good to hear about books we might not want to read, as well as those we do.
