I'm searching for a new series again. Any opinions on C. J. Box? (Original Post)

Thanks. I always get steered in the right direction on this forum. You know how I happened upon Box?

highly popular books and a "Joe Pickett" series. Now checking library system...

I was turned on to the John Sanford "Prey" series a couple of years ago (in this forum, of course) and just read the latest book in that series. In one scene Davenport is caught reading a C.J. Box novel at his desk.

in Minneapolis.
(Sandford making fun of himself.)
