Looking for a GOOD read...

for slight context, my two favorite books were:

Pillars Of The Earth
and
A Gentleman In Moscow

both (it seemed to me) were relatively historically accurate as far as culture, setting, circumstance. both were very enjoyable.

make a suggestion here. thnx in advance. the winner will be gifted with glowing thoughts.

Others:
Lincoln in the Bardo

The Warmth of Other Suns (nonfiction account of the great migration of African Americans north. Reads like a novel)

The Book of Margery Kempe

The Book of Margery Kempe is a medieval text attributed to Margery Kempe, an English Christian mystic and pilgrim who lived at the turn of the fifteenth century.
This book is absolutely fascinating, and hilarious without meaning to be.

Pillars of the Earth (Kingsbridge) series? If not, read the rest. Then read Ken Follette's other historical novels, like The Century Trilogy and Circle of Days.
