Thanks to the poster who posted about the book LIFE OF PI

I didn't read the book, but it's the only movie of all the ones nominated that I saw, actually took some of my family and paid for them. I remember you saying you were going to see the movie, and nobody thought it would be as good as the book. That I don't know, but I liked it.

It was a "feel good" movie, and when I saw and heard parts of it tonight, it made me cry again. The actor whoever he was was amazing.

If anybody gets a chance to rent the movie, go ahead and get it. I wish I could watch it again tonight.

I think it won 3 awards - techical effects, etc., and another for effects, and best soundtrack...I think....

it already lives so much in our heads, that we wonder if it will impact our feelings on the book.

We have it as an audio book, and it is a wonderful thing to listen to as well.

I've seen snips & clips and can only guess at how it would fill up a theatre.
