1. Captain America has always been one of my favs, since I was a kid

I just can't get behind the whole Hydra Cap thing. I get what they're doing but it seems so contrived and edgy for the sake of being edgy. What are your thoughts?

2. I think after civil war something was going to happen with his character...

they could have gone with the "kiss an make up" but that would have been short sheeting the reader base in a way.

So they had to make him the anti-hero, which is a bit of a stretch in someways for his character. I think instead of going full on hydra, they should have made him a reluctant participant, maybe sort of blackmailed to their side.

I'm currently buried neck deep with reading all the X-men series from the beginning and all of the Alien comics as well, so my currently knowledge about the Avengers is limited and very wrong at times. LOL

I haven't read the last series yet (premetheus: life and death), I think it started this month, I've been playing catch up
