if you have reason to believe that the cops are at the door.

The "no knock" search warrant was invented in response -- which in these modern times is also used when the cops have reason to believe that your domicile contains illegal guns.

Newsweek: After assaulting a woman and streaming it live on Facebook, two...teens have been arrested...Police were tipped off about the assault video Tuesday after it had gone viral, receiving around 48,000 views on Facebook.

And at least one of those 48,000 snitched to the cops? Party poopers!

The video had initially been removed, but a copy was posted again...

By the police, I hope, as part of their plan to track down the perps.

According to a(n)...analysis, at least 45 instances of violence were enacted on Facebook Live, including murders, rapes, shooting, child abuse, torture, suicides and attempted suicides... Mark Zuckenberg, Facebook’s creator, announced that the company would be hiring an additional 3,000 employees to improve Facebook’s report reviewing system...

He'll need ten times that many employees to clean up the mess on his latest acquisition Instagram...

TMZ: According to court docs...(r)apper 40 Glocc was among 4 people arrested in a prostitution sting in Minnesota...in February (2017)...

(Glocc)...drove a woman to an unknown location after an undercover cop contacted her through an (online) ad...The woman was arrested...(C)ops noticed a Bluetooth headset around her neck with a live call on the phone...(and that) the car that dropped her off took off.

Cops ultimately located the car and found Glocc with cuts on his hands from allegedly smashing multiple cell phones in his possession to avoid detection...He's out on bail and has a hearing set in October.

It's standard operating procedure for pimps to have multiple cell phones. And you'll be happy to know that 40 Glocc has been making the most of his freedom since he made bail -- by winning $200K in a lawsuit against a rapper who beat him up, and getting shot at while attending a funeral.

It may be time to shut down this thread...presenting the self-snitcher du tutti self snitchers...

When a...man’s cocaine disappeared from his car, he made a phone call.

To (the) police.

David Blackmon...report(ed) that someone had stolen...about $50 and a quarter ounce of cocaine...from his car...while it was parked...

(S)ome cocaine still lingering on the center console next to a crack rock...as well as a crack pipe on the car floor near the driver’s seat.

Blackmon was...charged with...possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing cocaine...He was...later released...pending $4,000 bail...

The moral of this story: if there's anything worse than selling OR using illegal drugs, it's selling AND using illegal drugs!!!

Vox.com: Officer Richard Pinheiro puts a bag of pills under some trash in an alley. He then walks to the street. He then switches on his camera, walks back to the alley, and acts like he just found the drugs for the first time...apparently (he) didn’t realize that body cameras often save the last 30 seconds of footage before they’re manually activated...

The...prosecutor dropped the charges...Although, in a troubling development, the prosecutor apparently used Pinheiro as an eyewitness in a separate case even after learning of his misconduct in the video...

Once he's fired, maybe Pinheiro can get a job writing for the next Police Academy movie...

DailyMail.co.uk: A major heroin ring in New York City was busted this week...Each of the (six) men faces a minimum of 10 years to life behind bars...

The crew had connections to a Mexican cartel and would funnel the drugs through Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, according to federal authorities.

(A) fleet of cars seized in the bust included a Lamborghini Hurácan, Rolls Royce Ghost, Bentley, Audi R8 Spyder, Mercedes CLS63, Mercedes S550, Porsche Cayenne, Maserati, Range Rover Sport and BMW M4...Among (the) gifts seized: a $3,000 Versace stroller...a Rolex watch, Chanel handbag and Versace dress...

(T)he dealers flaunted their lavish lives, funded by drug money, on Instagram...

Not a good look when an international drug cartel is your employer -- they consider flying under the radar to be such a sacrament, the Mexican cartel smuggled drugs through tunnels they dug under the U.S. border that weren't detected for years. Now, in addition to unwelcome police scrutiny, the cartel has to worry about being snitched on by a member of the Instagram Six: they may put out the word that there's a big paycheck waiting for anyone who can silence them permanently.

In a bid to generate some urban hiphop streed cred, a rapper based in the state of Rhode Island named himself after the state of Montana. He's put out songs titled Sell Drugz and Feds Watching, and...well, guess what?

The Source.com: Michael Persaud, aka “Montana Millz”...pleaded guilty...to...distribution of fentanyl...possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, and distribution of heroin...(He) was sentenced...to three years in federal prison...

Police had been watching Persaud for several months...They had not known of his stage name or drug-referencing songs prior to the case...

Persaud’s lawyers cited his music career as evidence of his work ethic...
“(He) has shown an ability and a proclivity to work at legitimate jobs throughout his life and knows the value of hard work and self-sufficiency,” (they) wrote...

Newsflash, lawyers: While it does require "hard work and self-sufficiency," using legally earned income to cover up, transport, and avoid taxes on ILLEGALLY earned income is NOT a "legitimate job!"

rocktivity

P.S. Only THREE years? For dealing in HEROIN? AND fentanyl? Maximum? FEDERALLY? That suggests that Mr. Millz can "sing" as well as rap -- NOT the best kind of reputation to bring into a cell block...

Vibe.com: Sierra Tarbutton pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and deadly conduct charges...for firing...a gun out of a car window...

Tarbutton...fired...out of the passenger side window...(as)...Michael Cuellar...drove...(In addition), Cuellar... shot...out of his window while driving...

Good thing the cops pulled over those idiots before a stray bullet struck someone. But wait -- if the cops knew they were pursuing a car from which people were firing bullets, wouldn't they have reacted a little more, shall we say, comprehensively?

So exactly how did "Bonnie and Clyde" get caught?

Tarbutton was recorded by...Cuellar...as she recklessly fired the weapon...(and) Cuellar record(ed) himself shooting...while driving...

Tarbutton...upload(ed) the footage to Snapchat...(where it) went viral...

Tarbutton later explained...“We were drinking at the time and were riding around, shooting in the air...” An attorney for Tarbutton maintained that her target was “abandoned buildings...”

Disgraceful, of course -- but this sort of thing CAN happen when teenagers, liquor, and guns get together. Since there were no human casualties, however, and since I was a mischievous teenager in my own right, I could give them a second chance if they have no prior criminal records: something like probation with community service, counseling, a curfew, a no-contact order, perhaps some drug testing, and definitely no driving or gun ownership privileges. But wait -- since they are mentioned by name in the news stories, that means they AREN'T teenagers...

Click2Houston.com: Tarbutton, 27, pleaded guilty to deadly conduct and criminal mischief charges and was sentenced to five years behind bars...Tarbutton was already serving six years deferred adjudication for harassing a police officer and threatening an officer’s children in 2015...

Vibe: Cuellar, 29...turned himself in to authorities...also on charges of criminal mischief and deadly conduct...

Oh -- I was off by about fifteen years.

Click2Houston.com: "Thanks to some really good police work, we were able to identify a suspect," said (the)...police chief...

Cut the comedy, chief -- thanks to some really good self-snitching, the suspects were able to identify themselves!

DJBooth.net: 21-year-old Terrell Davis, known to the rap game as Ralo...(was)...raised in the infamously dangerous West Atlanta neighborhood The Bluff (an acronym for “Better Leave U Fcking Fool”)...From ages 12 to 19, he was incarcerated 34 times...

It was the drug game, though, and not his success as a rapper...that got Ralo out of The Bluff: “I was never able to produce more money in the rap game than I produced in the drug game. I made $12 million dollars in one year.” But he recently gave up dealing drugs...“because I’d rather be broke and free than rich and in jail.”

An admirable sentiment, surely. But illegally earned income is taxable -- and since he couldn't pay the taxes without admitting that the money was illegally earned, publicly stating that he earned that much wasn't the smartest idea. Nor was it smart of Ralo to complain on Instagram that he'd "lost a million dollars in one day" the day after eight of his associates were busted for transporting several hundred pounds of weed from a private jet back in December.

Despite Ralo’s lengthy criminal history, particularly dealing drugs, he’s never been a user. “I’ve never smoked or drank or done any drugs in my life...Music is my vice...”

That makes the charges that Ralo was found in the company of several hundred pounds of weed on a private jet last week look all the more like a frameup -- and during the week of 4/20 Day, to boot!

WNEP.com, June 1, 7:39PM: ...(P)olice are investigating after a woman's body was found Thursday evening in a creek...around 5:30 p.m...Neighbors say a driver spotted the body in the water...

Haverly says he lives in a close-knit community and that for many, this death investigation so close to home is alarming. "It's sad to say that's someone's either daughter, mother, whatever, both, child," he added...

...Haverly mentioned it could be someone's mother...during his interview with Newswatch 16 (and) said he thought it was someone from out of town...(Police) found evidence that led to them charging him with homicide...

24. Florida (Police) Man Botches Traffic Stop
Thu Jul 12, 2018, 09:34 PM
Jul 2018
CBS News Miami 5/17/2018: A traffic stop by Miami-Dade Police lead to a stunning discovery this week: a car filled with a half dozen assault rifles and pistols, $20,000 in cash and more than 10 bottles with liquids that you normally need prescriptions for including promethazine with cocaine...

CBS4 obtained a photo exclusively from Miami-Dade police showing the evidence in this case...Police have arrested 33-year-old Ras Cates and 20-year-old Lizmixell Batista...Cates initially got out of his car...(and) said he was armed...had a concealed weapons permit to carry a firearm...(and) had two additional firearms...When they opened the trunk, that’s when they were in for a surprise,” said...Detective Alvaro Zabaleta...

Just another day at the office, right? Not quite -- let the self-snitching begin!

Wat-If.com: ...Body-camera footage from the incident showed an officer never got Cates’ permission to search his vehicle’s trunk but “instead commanded defendant to pop the trunk,” prosecutors wrote.

...(The) defense attorney said he found it “disturbing” that police “went on TV and engaged in incendiary speculation without knowing the facts or even acknowledging the rampant violations of my clients’ constitutional rights.”

CBS News Miami 6/6/2018: ...Officers ran the firearms and permits – they all came back as legal.

The police...told Cates to pop the trunk in order to secure the guns...officers spotted three more guns and a backpack that they said was emitting a strong odor of marijuana. The officers...searched the bag...and found what appeared to be marijuana oil...a small amount of marijuana and four bottles of what they suspected was liquid codeine...(T)hey also seized $19,934 from Batista’s purse suspecting it was drug money...Batista explained that hers was a cash only job...

A judge later ruled that the money was to be returned because there was no probable cause for the seizure...The state also declined to press charges after determining “(The) search of the trunk was illegal. Officers did not have...authority or consent to search...”

The police are also obliged the pay the couple's legal fees. A little patience on Detective Zabaleta's part would have gone a long way, especially since the evidence so clearly favored the suspects. Here's hoping that the cops responsible will be "surprised" with a transfer to the police canine kennel cleaning unit!

Remember that movie where the killer determined the fate of his victims by a coin toss?

Apparently, these cops remembered it, too:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=3m&v=V-gzFxV3Wcg

TMZ: ...Two Georgia cops giggl(e) while using a coin flip app to determine if they should arrest a speeding motorist -- and the recorded incident got both officers suspended.

Roswell PD pulled over Sarah Webb...for driving 80 MPH in a 45 MPH zone on a rainy day. Officers Courtney Brown and Kristee Wilson were trying to decide whether to simply give Webb a ticket for reckless driving or arrest her...and opted for a coin flip.

On the video -- recorded by the officers' own body cams -- you can hear Officer Wilson say, "A (arrest) head, R (release) tail." Brown says "Okay" and laughs. Despite the fact it came up tails...the cops opted to arrest Webb.

Webb had no idea about the coin flip until Atlanta's WXIA (TV station) uncovered the video. As a result, the cops are on administrative leave during an internal affairs investigation -- and Webb's charges were dropped.

WXIA 11Alive.com: (The) traffic stop happened in early April, but Roswell didn't put (the) officers...on administrative leave before 11Alive started asking questions two months later...

Webb said..."(The prosecutor) said, 'I have watched the videos and I absolutely refuse to prosecute this case'...Wow, these people put my freedom in the hands of a coin flip...that's disgusting."

Dallas News.com: Nykees Earl Campbell...known as "NaNa" and "Ny-Nizzle"...wanted to rap about what was real. So he posted...videos on YouTube and Facebook Live about his violent war with a rival gang, which played out with deadly consequences on the streets of Dallas.

Campbell, who has no criminal history...(pleaded) guilty...(to) a charge of distributing cocaine...initially facing almost six years in prison. But (the judge) granted (the prosecutor's) request for an enhanced prison term...(of) 12 years...due to Campbell's alleged violent gang activities documented in his own videos that were played during...(his) sentencing hearing...

(P)rosecutors...matched up (Campbell's) words with actual crimes, including an ambush robbery in which he allegedly shot a man eight times while he was asleep in bed. Campbell...hasn't been charged with those crimes...although he remains a suspect...

(The judge) told Campbell that much of the information she relied on "came out of your mouth"...

Click2Houston.com: In March (2018), two rappers...Maxo Kreme...(and) NFL Cartell Bo... were filming...next to...(an) elementary school... Some students made it into the(ir) video...When police arrived at the park, most of the people ran...

(A)ccording to police...about a dozen loaded guns, some of them stolen...(were) being used as props, and the extras holding the weapons were all documented street gang members...Some of them had open warrants and were arrested on the spot...Drugs were also found...

Rolling Stone: (Houston rappers) Maxo Kream and NFL Cartel Bo’s Hoova music video...opens with footage of police arriving to the park...The clip was released via...YouTube...(in May 2018)...(P)olice used it...to track down...(and) arrest 20 men...who appeared in it...

(NFL Cartel Bo)...was charged with illegally possessing two assault rifles and threatening a cop as he was transported to jail. Police say ...(he) cut off his ankle monitor and ceased communication after being released on bond. Maxo Kream was not arrested...Nine men in total are still on the run.

Obvious question: How and why did the video get made -- why wasn't the footage immediately consigned to the delete button? Could there be a connection between its materializing on the Internet two months later and Maxo coming out the whole mess unblemished? Well, it IS late December -- maybe that's why it's beginning to look a lot like SNITCH-mas...

28. How to make self-snitching a virtue
Sun Jun 2, 2019, 02:51 PM
Jun 2019
TMZ 2/2018: Teen Mom 2 cast member David Eason's officially been given the boot...(He) came under fire for an anti-LGBTQ rant online...

TMZ 5/2019: MTV booted Jenelle from its Teen Mom franchise after her husband shot and killed her French bulldog...because it nipped at (their 2-year-old daughter).

Jenelle Evans and David Eason are turning over a new leaf...doing everything they can to make sure they regain custody of her children...(S)ince losing custody of all 3 (of them)...the couple has enrolled in marriage counseling, signed up for parenting classes, and David's got an upcoming psych evaluation to find the root of his anger issues: all conditions set by the judge if they hope to get the kids back.

Jenelle has no plans to dump David, even though his brutal killing of the family dog put the wheels in motion for Child Protective Services (CPS) to take the kids out of their home. We're told Jenelle and David are still committed to each other, and they want to emerge from this extremely rough patch as a family.

Before you condemn CPS for being draconian, keep in mind that they had these things to consider (among others):

TMZ 5/13: Jenelle Evans' dangerous spouse...illegally towed a...truck...in June 2018...Cops weren't made aware until Eason uploaded a video of the incident on his YouTube page (in December, with) Jenelle in the background laughing and egging him on...Eason was charged with tampering with a vehicle and injury to personal property...

Since Eason was charged, it isn't as though the courts didn't find out about the incident. But it's not too late to take the video down -- it would show Child Protective Services that Jenelle and David are capable of basic good judgment and possibly even remorse...what, the video STILL hasn't been taken down???

TMZ 5/18: Jenelle and David went to court ...to fight a judge's order that removed three children from their home over the course of a week...The(y) were not returned...On their way out of the courthouse, they got back into their vehicle, which looks like it was housing a pistol on the dash...We pulled screenshots...and heightened the resolution...the black object seen through the windshield seriously looks like a gun.

Here's why that was an extremely bad idea -- and an extremely ill-timed form of self-snitching:

USA Today, July 2018: ...(Evans) grew angry when a driver of a white pickup truck tailgated her vehicle, cut her off and slammed on the brakes in front of her on the highway.

Footage (from Teen Mom 2)...shows Evans and...(her son) Jace fly forward as she brakes quickly to avoid crashing into the other car..."I almost got veered off the side of the road,” an emotional Evans tells the...911...operator...(She) tailed the unidentified driver to his home, while unbuckling her seat belt and reaching for a firearm...

(Evans) backed into the driver’s mailbox...The angry driver then blocked Evans from leaving...allegedly hitting her car in the process...Evans escaped, but the white truck began following her car again....The incident ended with Evans getting pulled over by police...

These two have a LOT to learn about making a good first impression...especially on people who are standing between you and custody of your children...

"I want hands and feet put on (a rival hiphopper). And I'm gonna show you how to tag me in the video once I see the video.

"Just look right here -- I'm gonna put my 'at' name right there. Tag me in the video, and I will DM you a cash app..."

In all fairness, I must mention that the author of this video has been recently been involved in some online beefing that culminated in a video of him firing a shot from the entrance to his home. But even if he is justified in wanting revenge, advertising for someone to injure someone is a crime. Which might explain why his most recent video portrays him being released after a recent arrest!

MyWabashValley.com: According to court documents, Anna Morgan-Lloyd went to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Jan. 22 to obtain a firearms permit. While processing the applications, an employee at the office recognized Morgan-Lloyd as someone who posted on Facebook about the Jan. 6 events...

Tries to overthrow an election and tries to obtain a gun legally -- how law-abiding can you get?

34. Capitol riot suspect wore 'I Was There' shirt when arrested
Mon Mar 29, 2021, 09:50 PM
Mar 2021
Associated Press: Garret Miller didn’t speak to the law enforcement officers who arrested him on charges he stormed the U.S. Capitol in January, but the T-shirt he was wearing at his Dallas home that day sent a clear and possibly incriminating message.

Miller’s shirt had a photograph of former President Donald Trump, and it said “Take America Back” and “I Was There, Washington D.C., January 6, 2021,” federal prosecutors noted in a court filing...(They) are urging a judge to keep Miller jailed while he awaits trial on charges stemming from the Jan. 6 riots in the nation’s capital.

And no doubt he'll be pleading the right not to incriminate himself...

Turns out to be part of a subculture in Milwaukee:

The "Kia Boys" think it's cool to steal cars (Kias and Hyundais, mostly, because they're easiest) and speed while deliberately swerving with their associates hanging out the windows. The top video was shot by the owner of the black truck that the car ended up hitting. A child on the school bus was seriously injured; the Kia Boy who was hanging out the passenger side window reportedly died.

But there is good news: the Kia Boys thought it would also be cool to allow themselves to be the subject of the second video, which was posted on Youtube and has allowed the police to make arrests. Brings a whole new meaning to the concept of having a death wish -- and no doubt they're blaming the author of the second video for being a snitch...

It's not that the self-snitcher "overdid" it -- it's that UberEats needed to rack up a million dollars in losses before they realized that something was wrong!

The Trentonian (August 2021): In the Facebook photo (he) posted...Matthew Tanner...was wearing black pants, a black T-shirt and white reflective shoes with a black tongue.

That was the same outfit (he) wore while gunning down (his victim) the day before...The photo helped cops identify him...according to a probable-cause affidavit...

Snitch not, lest ye be snitched upon BY thyself...
