Renew Deal
(81,873 posts)Because I don't think the Lakers are winning more than 1 series.

(7,429 posts)Look it's not like this is an isolated incident. He has some issues. I think a little time away from the NBA would do him some good

(34,825 posts)i say he should remain suspended for duration of season as well as entire playoffs.

Renew Deal
(81,873 posts)The press was very easy on him for some reason. They were talking about 1-5 games. I don't know why. It was a very dirty hit.

(81,873 posts)But it didn't happen. I don't know what happens if LA doesn't play 6 playoff games. Does it carry over?

(24,853 posts)I have to confess I AM NOT a basketball fan, but I think the two worst things the Lakers have done is welcomed first Robert Horry (he who threw a towel in his coach Danny Ainge's face during a game) and then Ron Artest.

(29,322 posts)That was the 1996-97 version of the Suns. It was the most memorable season to me as a Suns fan even though they didn't do that great during the playoffs. They started the season 1-14 but fought back and made the playoffs, I remember road games were on UPN and home games were on Pay-Per-View.
They had a great playoff series against #2 seed Seattle, up 2 game to 1, with the game on Pay-Per-View, Rex Chapman made an amazing game tying 3-pointer but they ended up losing in OT, then the series in Game 5.

(3,245 posts)sorry, his history and this blatent hit to the head I think warrants more than 7 games.
Was listening to Mike and Mike on the way to work this morning. Greenberg contends that because it's the playoffs and his importance to the Lakers he was ok with the number of games. He then said that if it was earlier in the year, he'd have no issue with it being 15 games. To that I say, bullshit.
World Peace or whatever he feels like calling himself these days threw that elbow in malice at Hardin's head. Plain and simple. He didn't care if Hardin got hurt or not.
