I did not realize until now that El Supremo is a character in Horatio Hornblower

The first novel..."Beat to Quarters"

I had never read any of them until now.

FYI, El Supremo in the novel is certifiably insane!

In the novel he makes people bow down to him and recognize him as a deity...I guess the multiple teams means his team always wins and a God could not ask for less!
