so you have to hand it to Cleveland for not going the usual economy route. Cleveland GM Chris Antonetti still believes this team can contend (he built it, of course). There is talent here. If Antonetti can fill in the holes and Francona can connect the dots, this team will be the 2013 version of the 2012 Oakland Athletics.

He was a good fit in Boston when they had the talent and that talent had the determination...he's not gonna have the talent in Cleveland to work with.

but I'd like to see them play better under Francona. Sometimes "success" is relative to what you have to work with.
