Related: About this forumErin Andrews left ESPN for Fox in June
I guess I missed this. I noticed Erin Andrews covering college football on Fox and wondered what she was doing there. Tonight she was a sideline reporter for Fox during the 49ers-Packers game.
I guess she doesn't associate Fox Sports with the NY Posts handling of the peephole incident a few years ago.
"I forget what day it is and what state I'm in," said Erin Andrews. "But other than that everything is great."
Understandably so. As she glides through marquee TV assignments that wouldn't have been possible if she hadn't left ESPN for Fox this summer, Andrews looks back on the move as "a no-brainer."
ESPN isn't carrying playoff baseball, but Andrews is working it, reporting from the San Francisco Giants dugout for Fox's MLB National League Championship Series coverage.
By phone from St. Louis on Thursday ahead of Game 4, she said "it's a no-brainer for reasons such as this:
During the rain delay Wednesday in Game 3, a video was shown on the Jumbotron of the Cards' run last year, "How tough it was, the celebration. I've seen it a million times," Andrews said. "But I thought, 'Oh my gosh, I'll be on the field for the celebration for whoever wins this thing.' "

The fact that you hadn't noticed speaks volumes.

How did I not notice it if I noticed it and said so. What I didn't know was that she left ESPN. I thought it was an Anderson Cooper 60 Minutes type situation.

that the Fox show was not very good and didn't leave a good impression.
I didn't mean to insult you, and I apologize if you felt slighted.
I was surprised because you've always been nice and we have a favorite team in common.
I agree. I don't know why they put her with Eddie George (who I was a fan of) and the other guy.
