(ESPN) Never mess with the '62 Mets.
Never get your team mixed up in a sentence that ends: "since the '62 Mets."
And never, ever find yourself in a chart, graph, table, list, addendum, anecdote, short story or special video presentation that includes the term "'62 Mets."
Why? Simple. Because that can't be good. Can't be. If there's even a remotely sane reason your team is being even vaguely compared with The Worst Team of Modern Times, that's what's called trouble.

the Astros. I'm not a fan, but it is always sad to watch them play. They make so many routine errors, and they literally are everyone's doormat. Almost everyone on their current roster belongs in the minor leagues instead.

And beating some of the big boys. JD Martinez, Jose' Altuve and their fans would smack you upside the head for thinking they belong in the minors.
You gotta start somewhere, and there's some great players on this team. Also, one of the cheapest tickets in baseball to one of the nicest parks.

The flip side of relegation is promotion. Are you ready to see Fresno, Birmingham or even Gwinnett County, Ga. (Braves AAA) in the bigs? Bud's not.
